Darren walked down the shaded aisle, leather lead in hand. Behind him trailed a snowy Arab mare, whose bright eyes shone as she looked into each stall the two passed. As she caught site of another horse standing in the belly of a stall, she called out, causing Darren to wince. "Tempete, must you make a big deal of everything?" With a broad smile, he gave her neck a pat, laughing as she placed her dished head on his shoulder. "Hey now, why the long face? You should be happy to have a rest before we start showing again." With that, he slipped her into an empty stall at the end of the barn, farthest from the door. No sense of her getting cold when she didn't need to, eh? Tempete gazed about her stall with almost honey coloured eyes, searching through the mounds of soft bedding for any hidden hay.
